Hopeful Paws of Florida is a small dog rescue, not a marketing company. This page is short because there is genuinely very little to tell you.
What this website collects
Nothing. We do not run analytics, we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies of our own. You can read every page on this site without telling us anything about yourself.
The pages you see are plain files. There is no account to create and no profile being built.
When you contact us
If you email us or submit an adoption application, we receive what you send and we keep it for as long as we need it to do the adoption properly. We use it to talk to you about adopting a dog, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone who is not part of that adoption.
When you donate or pay an adoption fee
Donations and adoption fees are handled by Givebutter, which processes card payments through Stripe. When you use one of those forms, you are giving your details to them, not to us. We never see or store your card number.
What we do see is what any organization sees about a gift: the donor's name, the amount, and the contact details they chose to share, so that we can thank them and keep proper records as a nonprofit.

Where the dogs come from
Our adoptable dogs are listed through RescueGroups.org, and this website displays that listing. That flow runs one way: information about our dogs comes to the website. Nothing about you goes back to them.
Each dog's page includes a small image from RescueGroups.org that counts how many times the dog has been viewed. It tells rescues where their animals are being seen on the internet, which is how a rescue this size learns what is working. It is a counter, not a profile of you.
Fonts
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. That is the only third party your browser contacts on an ordinary page.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
